Even today with the media frenzy over micro plastics and everyone worrying over them, the evidence linking them to harm is still pretty limited.

This is nothing like other industries where there was a clear harm known to exist. This is an unexpected impact that - to this day - we are unsure of in its impact to health.

The entire selling point of plastics is essentially that they are not very biologically active. Their mere presence is not evidence of harm or even danger.

Here the thing about students and parents flipping out over bad grades: the teacher has the final say on what the grade is. The community can whine all they want, but if the new teacher fails the entire second grade class, those kids are going to have to retake second grade, regardless of what you do to the teacher.

Teachers just need to grow balls as a group and start failing our stupidest kids.

Unclear if that would really work anyway. The DMCA is triggered when you have to take an additional step to gain access to the code or whatever. But if it's simply obfuscated, there's no additional step to decompile. It just makes understanding the decompiled code harder.

Obfuscation can trigger DMCA when it hides where the code is or some such thing. But simply shipping ugly code may not.
