The problem for the government is that they don't know if you have a special circumstance. Could there be easier ways for people to tell the IRS that there is nothing else to report? Maybe.

Maybe it's just my non-existent note-taking, but there are only two high profile prisoners that I remember getting this kind of coverage. Specifically, I mean stories detailing what prison life will be like for them. They are the two women on this list of 15 jailed CEOs.

Is it a conveyor that takes a job away from a fork lift driver?
Is it a box lift station that reduces back injuries for a person moving boxes around?
Is it a robot arm that stacks boxes on a pallet. What if it is two robot arms working together is that two robots?
What if the automation doesn't take any jobs away, but it just makes the workforce more efficient?
There are so many kinds of automation and almost none of them look like Bender. I wouldn't know how to begin applying this tax.
If you play on hard mode then you have a point. If you have *itch on word 4, play HOPED. If you got no hits, it's the W. It won't be the B. And this is assuming that you have ruled out none of the potential hits at that point.
The design is completely appropriate. A key design decision was that everyone would be playing the same word for the whole day. Once you know that, then you know the only people that you have to protect from secret are the people that don't want to know. Placing the word in the source code is more than sufficient for that group.
NYT made a nice improvement in this regard. When you come back to the game, the board is concealed by default. This way if you are using someone else's phone and they left their Wordle board up, you don't accidentally see the answer and ruin your game for the day.
It seemed odd that the Verge article VW had an awfully specific (4 significant digits) investment amount of $20.38B which exactly matched the awfully specific annual sales of $20.38B.
This article suggests that it was actually a vague $20B Euros (1 significant digit). https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Felectrek.co%2F2022%2F07%2F07.... That these 1 significant digit numbers are the same is not so surprising.

Since nobody has posted this, it is worth pointing out the UMN has reacted.

Hardly. Just respect the two spaces when they are provided. Grammar checkers can't always get it right. Provide an override. Two spaces is a well established way of doing this.
What is my intent with this pair of sentences?
It was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. George was wrong.
Was Dr. George wrong about Jr. Or was George wrong about MLK Drive?
Such a combined murder and suicide by driving would seem to be the epitome of unsafe driving.
I agree, but the original comment about not giving out a driving license to this person would do nothing to stop this.
Hold on, so Holder holds handheld holdout to be held?
I know I shouldn't copy and paste into a terminal, but it is so convenient. I don't even need a malicious website to get myself into trouble. I just forget that I copied hundreds of lines right after I copied that filename that I wanted to use. And then boom!, lots of commands entered that who knows what will happen with.
I've occasionally looked, but never found a terminal to help with this. Probably because they shouldn't encourage my bad habit. But if it would just give me a pop up showing what I am about to paste that would help a bunch.
