Decentralize power from DC so that issues are addressed at the lowest levels of government feasible. Where citizens will have the greatest amount of influence and control.
Not what I'm in fact saying. The kinds of functions which are centralized there generally need to be. We do need to have minimum education standards, it's too bad Rapeublicans have shat that up so they could fuck up children's minds like the do their bodies. We do need to have environmental standards, Rapeublicans used to believe in protecting at least parts of it while raping the rest (they called themselves "conservationists"!) and the EPA was founded even under Nixon — he was a thief, but he could recognize a beautiful country when he saw one he could steal from.
shareholders would love nothing more than for Microsoft to quit the difficult and risky game industry to dive all-in on AI psychosis products instead
Like the AI psychosis product industry isn't risky? Microsoft has nothing in that space worth mentioning. They have to buy or rent it like usual. Every time Microsoft buys something they immediately enshittify it, which they have done with a long long list of products which they turned into Windows features, most of which I thankfully cannot even remember anymore (Save, for some reason, Wolfpack -> WLBS. Weird.) and will not look up, thanks.
Maybe they could give gaming customers a discount if they'll let them use their power to run software on their consoles. I'm sure that would be a terrible idea on a lot of levels, so there should still be people who would go for it.
It's always weird when people bring up Cuba, which we've been shitting on for decades, and then try to look smug about it.
They call what we have in the USA Democracy when it isn't actually operated that way, why is it hard to understand why that's only a reason why you need a functional government with meaningful safeguards no matter what form of government you choose? For me that's direct citizen involvement at all levels of government, because that's what it takes for people to be engaged and for the government to in turn engage with The People. When someone tells you they want to run your Communist future for you, that's an obvious warning sign that they are full of shit, but that's also true of Democracy.
Population collapse is not a real problem because more than half of us are doing bullshit make-work that doesn't need to even fucking exist except to support the two-winged bird of the MIC x The Poverty Industry. The benefits for a massive glut of old people are trivially paid for if you just don't do everything in the worst fucking way.
AFAICT we will not solve these problems, because doing so requires making things better. Instead we will mostly focus on ourselves all the way down the drain. But having 8 billion people doing a bunch of unnecessary bullshit in inefficient ways, which is very much the status quo that most of us can see trivially just by looking around or at most going outside and looking around, is fundamentally unsustainable. And I'm talking about the climate change here that you somehow haven't noticed I've been ranting about here voluminously since before you arrived.
Did your closing sentence sound clever while you were writing it?
No problem, there's a bunch of religious people out there with like eight kids in their family. You can identify them at a glance because all their kids have biblical names and there's a shitload of them.
Lots of people aren't sane. For example, some people think they know what everyone else is thinking and feeling.
It's ok, we don't need 8 billion people. 4 billion or so was fine.
And those places with cheap rents have no jobs.
And no culture.
That's fine if you stay indoors all the time and are retired or can work from home...
Most states do. They get paid for housing them even if they don't use them for work.
I've never been so disappointed in my home state of California than when we voted not to ban forced and coerced prison labor.
Reminded him that he needs help with the voting machines.

That's how it feels but actually it's a twelve person committee that meets every week for a year to decide what color the front page should be
Remember, LLMs use random numbers, plus there can be other customization for users, so two people can send the same tokens and get a different response.
No. If the system is designed so that a low level guy can fuck it up, it is already fucked.
