You seem to confuse the GOP with the Uniparty.

The GOP sold out there voters 20+ years ago to get cushy districts for there leaders but giving up every competitive district. It has not thing to do with party shifts and everything to do with institutional corruption.

It's not just part, but required when you bring in the Civil Rights Act and forced minority-majority districts.

Better fix is to increase the size of the House and Senate by a factor of 3 and have 2 of 6 senators be appointed (pre 17th amendment rule).

The CA GOP sold out there voters after the 2000 census. They accepted extreme gerrymandered districts that gave those in power permanent safe seats at the cost of a super-minority.

Trump was the first POTUS in the 21st century where Russia did not invade one of its neighbors.

It was GM and Chrysler, not Ford. IIRC, with GM, it did go bankrupt. What the government did was seperate all of GMs liabilities out into a seperate company and that company went bankrupt, screwing everyone who was owed money.

It's always the other congressmen that are the problem, never you own.
