Journal Interrobang's Journal: Yet Another Perfessor Multigeek Update 6

Hi, all. I got an e-mail from the friend of PM's who's been keeping in regular touch with me, and she says that PM has been up and walking around, and his legs are unbandaged finally. The improvement, apparently, is that they look "horrible and purple." He's spent a lot of time writing letters to people (Bellus Quies, e-mail Janet Pascal, as she has a letter from PM for you but needs your physical address.), so I'm waiting for my letter to arrive. *sigh*

Apparently his apartment is quite damaged, with broken windows, water damage, and melted/scorched stuff everywhere. (Waaah, his antiques!)

However, PM's pet turtle survived the fire and a month without food, despite having its tank covered in detritus and the water get horribly dirty. Another of PM's friends has custody of the so-far-nameless reptile, and they say it's eating voraciously and thriving otherwise. They're also trying to name it...

Suggestions so far are "Phoenix" and "Loge," and I said perhaps "Carlyle" or "Teufelsdrockh," since the poor beastie certainly underwent a "Baphometic Fire Baptism," and I know how much PM appreciates a relatively obscure allusion every now and then...
