Continuing my journaling every 10 years or so, you dirty, dirty fuckers at slashdot. You just started an ad that put itself in picture in picture separated from the browser and I had a hell of a time closing it.

Dirty dirty fuckers.

As of today and for the past few months, cnn.com sucks. They have so many scripting and click overlays or whatever generating ad content it takes up to 30 seconds to load on my fast home computer with good Internet connection.

Worse, it grinds Chrome almost to a halt. If I click the close box, it can take over 5 seconds to actually close that awful cnn.com tab. Other tabs are hindered.

Went back to City of Heroes after an 8 month interlude in World of Warcraft. Ahh, the freedom of high-speed, true 3D travel. Ooooh, the power of the scrapper class in feeling truly heroic and dominant on the battlefield. You can take your +85 strength swords that increases your damage by 1.2% and, in the words of the Lieutenant, cram it up your ass.
