I live in a very liberal area. I go into the polling place, pull out my wallet and my voter registration and drivers license, they mark that I was voting on paper, and I fill out a paper ballot. How is that corrupt? And I mean it is those corrupt Democrats running the system.

What would a completely non corrupt 100 percent verifiable Republican system involve? What I see as an issue however, is the apparent paradigm that Data Centers, need all of the generated power - not just available, but all of it. And then need more. Here in teh states we're talking bout restarting old nuc plants to service the Data Centers. I don't see much introspection, just "Build more DCs, we need more power!" That there are just all these jobs that can't be automated so I don't have to worry about automation and job losses. You are correct that robotics is a huge job killer. Amazon has 1 million robots in their warehouses you don't deploy that many of something unless it's devouring jobs.

But I also don't think we talk enough about how modern high-speed internet makes it possible to pilot vehicles remotely overseas. Waymo has been caught doing that. When they are actually under oath like they were to Congress they admit that when the cars are in even slightly difficult situations a human driver takes over from a call center in the Philippines.

I don't even know where to begin with the legal problems with that. The reason they've been able to get away with that though is the same reason Uber has gotten away with what they do cars are a lot safer so you don't have people being killed all the time.
