One report I saw this morning (can't find the source) said that the kids were not allowed to have any phones, ipads or laptops etc at the camp. This is apparently a common practice at summer camps. So alerts would not have been heard.

It would be interesting to investigate the role the retired Coast Guard admiral ,who was on the company's board of directors, had in getting approval for the project. If anyone should have known about the safety of the project it should have been him.

Or better yet, tell her why she is barred and correct the error. If she was able to prove she had paid for the TP that would have settled the problem. I wonder how hard it is to take the mistake off the software.

YouTube already is rife with examples of machine reading and it sucks. I usually turn the audio off on these videos. Not an option with an audiobook. Patrick Tull's performance of the Patrick O'Brian "Master and Commander" series is a jewel and adds so much to the enjoyment of the books. The performance of the book by the reader can make or break a book.

My GF worked for Dell in the early years. I worked for Tandy. Dell could sell the same computers we were bidding on at half the price. It got so bad Dell had to make an unspoken agreement not to hire any more people from Tandy.
