I second Kdenlive too. Even in 2008 when compared to iMovie and Movie Maker it was amazing for something free. I wonder how far it's evolved now..

When I have interest in an article of news, it's certainly not for the gratuitously added comments section below it. I never had the desire to.

It's just webmaster feature creep at that point.
