You might want to review what happened in France[1] and Spain[2]. If the rule is "thou shalt not use this content without paying $other-party$", then removing that content seems like a reasonable solution.

There's not much to it, in terms of mechanical (high precision+reliable motor) or electronics (replaceable battery + four buttons + microchip). I think the biggest thing is testing and approval process.

They charge a lot for the devices, but a lot of that cost goes into patient training before they hand over a high-risk medical device.

I've been looping for several years now, and the results are amazing. It's way more effective than any other therapy I've used (way better control, better A1C), but more importantly I now have a hardware solution that offloads about 100 decisions per day from my life. That part is truly life changing.

Unfortunately, my current device is held together with duct tape, and it's unlikely that any new hackable devices will be brought to market. So I'm confused... the study is about "search quality", but I don't understand how they define that term. They were looking at search engines that changed their retention policy. They evaluated search quality before and after. That part sounds good.

It seems that they counted the number of users coming from search engine A and landing at site B before and after. Can anyone explain how that's an indicator of search quality? Perhaps they want to measure if the search engine lost or gained users?

TL/DR: If you want to close tabs to the right: shift click the rightmost tab, press ctrl-W.

Ctrl-click on a tab to "select" it, without losing your current selection.
Shift-click to select select a group of tabs.
You can drag any set of tabs out of the current browser.

If you're not in incognito mode, you should be able to press Ctrl-Shift-T to reopen the last closed tab. If you closed a window, all of the tabs come back.
