There aren't many of these golf ball size rocks in any volume of space.
Compare the 9 days Artemis II was in space, with the length of time (rounded to years) long duration space stations have been in low earth orbit without being hit by a rock of this size
- Skylab, 6 years
- Salyut 6, 5 years
- Salyut 7, 9 years
- Mir, 15 years
- ISS, 27 years, so far. ISS has been hit by a few micro-meteors, 2 mm across or less, one of which damaged the coolant system of a docked Soyuz capsule. It also has Whipple shields to protect it against high velocity dust.
As we put more and more satellites up there, or bases on the moon eventually something will be hit by one of these golf ball sized rocks, quite likely destroying a crewed spacecraft and killing the crew, but cars crash, planes fall out of the sky and ships sink
