Journal GeckoFood's Journal: Writing Project 2

I have a writing project on which I have been working for the last 2-3 years. It is approximately 1900 pages so far and I am writing it in cooperation with a friend of mine. It started as a joke and has turned into a rather lengthy and complicated story involving a host of characters on a somewhat extravagant estate. My friend and I have been writing about a page or so at a time, each one of us taking turns. He writes a little, I write a little, and back and forth we go.

We have been talking of late, however, about possibly finding a way to make it accessible to others. Up until now he and I are the only ones who know the story and are familiar with all of the parts. A very small few know of the existence of this story, but no one has read it beyond the two of us.

We have talked about turning it into a blog, posting one update a day for a while so that others could read it as well. It's certainly not publishing grade, particularly the very early efforts of it, but it's become better and better as we have gone along.

Anyone have a suggestion or two in regards to this kind of thing?

This may not make any sense for the story, but not knowing the story, I just thought I'd make the suggestion...
    • Time-wise it is very linear, with occasional gaps in the timeline. However, the story itself is more or less a series of relationships that are at various stages of development at any given moment. For example, in the current set of relationships, one couple has just had a messy breakup. Another couple is dealing with getting back on track after a car accident nearly ended the life of the husband. The wife's sister is involved to help care for the couple's children.
