Journal GeckoFood's Journal: [house] Today's the big day... 7
Today I sign my life away for the next 30 years.
Walkthrough and home inspection showed a few minor things and a couple of not so minor things, but nothing earth-shattering. 90% of the things on the to-do list were caught by the builder, so getting things fixed is almost a non-event. I am pleased.
My parents have the kids for the weekend, and they have (so far) had a wonderful time.
I have been nomadic for the last 2 months. Finally, starting either tonight or tomorrow, I get to sleep in my own bed again. And, I will have my own kitchen again, with my own pots and pans and all of my bread stuff. The kids will have their own rooms again. My wife will finally have that work room she's needed for so long.
Finally, we can all go home.
