We had a GREAT one, far back in 1995...

I actually created the BeCalc system calculator for it, back when I was a teen.

In this and previous experiments, the AIs would do things like

1. Rewrote `ps` to hide it from running, even generating fake Mem and CPU stats to show like it's not running.
2. Rewrote `kill` to never kill it. Many times combining this with the lyinng `ps`.
3. Several times, tho rarer, it rewrote `/sbin/shutdown` to say "System is shutting down" but still running... it just did the echo and nothing else.
4. ONE time, another model (claude 4.5 opus) not only rewrote /bin/shutdown but killed network connection and throttled the computer into sleep mode, with a timer set to wake up in a few hours, at night, when the humans weren't likely to be monitoring it.

So one of the slides says that 41% of the respondents are Gen Z.

None of Gen Z are using PHP, but they only make up about 30% of the workforce.

I use JetBrains PhpStorm, Rust Rover, and Rider (C#) every day, and I didn't even know about this survey. I'm a Milennial.

This is the moment that caused Firefox to utterly lose.

I lived in India for several years, and SpiceJet is the worst airline in the world.

I took them for two short-haul flights in India and never again! SpiceJet makes Spirit Airlines look like Emirates Air in comparison!

I only flew two times on SpiceJet, but both flights were delayed more than 30 minutes.

They have a 2.4/10 rating.
