There's basically two ways this plays out. First the Epstein class wins. If that happens you will quickly see the population not just stop growing but shrink. People who aren't desperately trying to crank out babies without access to birth control so they can use them as cheap labor to replace machines that don't exist just don't have a lot of kids. When you take away the economic incentive it turns out the birth rates drop faster than even the projections your citing.

Either way the reason we have this huge population boom is because we were in a very bizarre and unique situation where we had just enough technology that a primitive culture that squeezes out babies left and right wasn't dropping dead constantly from war and disease and general lack of medical Care. That's not sustainable and it's not going to last. The Epstein class won't allow it. So we either get rid of the Epstein class which does not seem to be on the table or we let them turn us into something worse than serfs

That means one quarter of working adults cannot support themselves. That's about 40 million people. So yeah we don't need to bring more people into this country we have plenty of people. Nobody is going to convince me that all 40 million of those people are too stupid to be trained on the tasks H1Bs do.

And I could care less about innovation in this country. All that means is who owns the patents and it's not going to be me owning the patents so why the fuck would I care? I still have to pay the license fees one way or another.

I'm not a admin so I don't actually run my own VMs but from talking to other admins there is nobody who has tools for doing the kind of deployments you need to do in a large Enterprise except for VMware. I mean the tools exist but you're going to spend so much money paying people to monkey around with them you might as well just paid VMware.

His actual tech tips tend to be pretty shit but he does have one good video where he spent a few weeks trying to get all the people in his business off Adobe software and quickly found that yes he could do it but the man hours and the pay he had to spend doing it exceeded the cost of the licenses.
