Comment Windows XP is NT (Score 1) 137

XP is just Windows 2000 with a Crayola interface and higher system requirements. 2000 was peak windows. It's all been downhill from there. Well, damn. I gotta say Vista fixed the windows threading model, enforcing safe (multi)threading. 7 naturally carried this change. Perhaps 7 was peak Windows. 8 was awful. 9? 10 was okay. I prefer the 95 interface though. Lol. 11 has gone off the rails.

We presently use quite a bit of biosolids from human waste. Though that comes with various pharmaceuticals heavy metals and other stuff that's not really desirable.

I think that's the point. Convince people the healthy, nutrient-dense real foods are bad then replace with highly processed and nutrient-vacuous substitutes. Like all these alternative 'milks', which would kill infants if you actually had to rely on such milks exclusively. Sadly people are dumb and some are doing this and there are children dying because of it.

Yea, okay, you make one valid point. On a planet that doesn't support life, it may be the most viable, cost-effective option. But on Earth, animals grow themselves and are critical parts of ecosystems that are -- ahem -- absolutely necessary for a planet with such life as we know it. So, sure, one day when humans make Earth go fully extinct, you'll be right. Vat meat will certainly be cheaper than terraforming.

I'm guessing you dunno what 4H means, and are oblivious to the prices of production for livestock. Meat is extremely cheap to produce.

What next? Fake plants grown in vats? Why bother utilizing the sun? It'll be so cost effective they'll promise. Hahahahahahahah. I guess you got jokes.

Comment Re:That's not how humans see (Score 1) 120

Humans only really see well in their central focal point. Saccades, rapid eye movements, help fill it details, some optical illusions exploit this. We don't actually see in 'frames' nor anywhere near 100 megapixels. We're fully analog. Pixels don't mean anything really. Quality of vision varies widely. Much of the details you think you're seeing are merely hallucinated.
