No, his core supporters are those that the rich laughed at, made scapegoats and treated like turds on the soles of their shoes. The very same rich that is standing behind Trump and benefiting from his very move. Aka you voted against your own interests while blaming people that where never to blame for your misfortune. You fell for the most successful propaganda move in modern history.

Then, my administration cut through every piece of red tape to achieve the fastest-ever, by far, launch of a vaccine trial for this new virus, this very vicious virus.

The only red tape that exists in vaccine development is the science of proving that it works and is safe. There was no way to know if he was lying or if he was bragging until after the fact. You have the benefit of hindsight, no one in 2020 had that benefit. We also don't know if he really lied or if simply got lucky in that no red tape had to be cut thanks to the first vaccine coming from Europe and not from the US so that was not an avenue that he needed to use.

Nope. The science was exactly the same, the process exactly the same, pre- and post-election. They scare mongered over Trump, pure politics. Trump's cutting the red tape in fact delivered a safe vaccine to Biden/Harris. Which they recognized as safe post election. Its all politics.

I'm not entire sure why you are not listening, yes the science turned out to be exactly the same. The thing is though that he said that he was going to ignore the science aka it was him that made it political and pretended that he would just accept whatever came. So yes they fell for his rhetoric, but so did you.

Which Biden/Harris politically conflated with skipping the science. Well, until they won.

No they where correct, his first plans to speed up the vaccine was to skip the science. The exact quote during the vice president debate is:

“If public health professionals, if Dr. Fauci, if the doctors tell us that we should take it, I’ll be the first in line to take it, absolutely,” she said. “But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I’m not taking it.”

And this came after Trump pledged to make an imminent vaccine approval, aka skipping the science.

Except that is not really what happened. What happened was that during the election debates, that "famously right wing President" talked about creating a new vaccine super fast by cutting out all the red tape and in a response to that the rival "left" wing vice president candidate replied that they would be extremely skeptical about such a vaccine. Then in the end the "famously right wing President" thankfully didn't cut any of the red tape but instead handed out funds in advance letting companies cut out the part of their internal red tape that is about "not putting to much investment into something that might not end up being worth it".
