Well, actually, there IS an incentive to buy the series when it is released in the USA (or elsewhere). Bootlegs don't have the extras found in the original.(IE: posters, trading cards, collectible cases) Digisubs are not a replacement for the DVD itself, simply a way of `tiding over` until it is released here. Also, many series are not released into the US, so digisubs are the only way to see certain series. (Crayon Shin-Chan for example)
