Oh, and if you can speed it up only during the hours of 8am to 5pm monday through friday and slow it down from 6pm friday to 6am monday morning, that'd be cool too.

  • Tonight my friend is having an ice cream and movie party. BYOIC, but that's cool. Tomorrow I might go out "dancing." I hate "dancing," but the drinks aren't bad.

    Oh, yeah, I'll be doing homework. We have two assignments due on Monday because school is almost as annoying as not having a job. I don't actually mean that, by the way. Just in case all you unemployed folks were getting your diminutive pants in a bunch.

      I'm waking up rather early tomorrow as to avoid the A) extreme heat of swampland GA and B) the rain guaranteed to come on saturdays and sundays round these parts so I can plant some flowers in the front flower bed.

      • Dude, my friends rock. Friday's my day off, anyway. No gym. No caring too much about what I eat after 5 pm. Makes this whole process slower, but much easier. I'm selecting sanity over quick weight loss. Sanity, contrary to popular belief, is not overrated. Damn moderators.

        And I already have my ice cream. It's chocolate white chocolate fudge, thankyouverymuch. You won't catch me doing this South Beach craziness any time soon. :^P

    there was a rush to finish painting and stuff before showing and now that a bunch of furniture is in storage, there are these obvious "Gaps" in the touch-up job (heh heh heh).

    I've decided that I'm too much of an old man to actually go out for my Sis' b-day tommorrow. Hey! 9 pm is late for a saturday!

  • My wife is attending the wedding of one of her former students (she taught 3rd grade for a while), and since there is no child care at the wedding, I am watching our kids, as well as the children of friends of ours who are also going to the wedding. I volunteered for this, so I have no right to complain. I don't really expect there to be any problems, though - all of them are well-behaved for the most part..

  • Believe it or not, Saturday I am having dinner with someone who goes by "Diceman" [google.com] (Defensive Information to Counter Espionage), and Sunday I am having dinner with a guy named Mudge [google.com], who was the hacker who testified before the Senate that he could take down the entire Internet in half an hour.

  • This morning, my plans were so exciting as to include getting a haircut and going to see I, Robot. As of 5 minutes ago, some friends of mine invited me to come over for dinner and go to a state park near their place on Sunday.

  • I have to work 6 hours on Saturday teaching a crowd of computer illiterates how to use our software. "Don't touch the mouse." "NO, don't touch the mouse." This is usually followed by me walking over, grabbing the mouse and moving it out of their reach. Even better? "Move the mouse to the right. No, the other right." Blech.

She's been having really strong contractions for 2 weeks, is now ~80% effaced and 1.5cm dilated, and the Fetal Fibronectin test came back positive--which doesn't mean we're guaranteed to go into labor, but a negative would have guaranteed we wouldn't, at least according to the midwives.     • Doing some writing, napping tonight (instead of going out to the bar with some kids). My whol chem is fucked up right now. I plan on going to bed after dinner.
    • Buying some fly shirts, some slacks. Also looking into getting some semi-formal Adidas kicks. I have the informal, the work casual, the formal. I need something to key between slot one and two.
    • Doing some shopping including shaving cream. Probably buying some corned beef to cook in the crock.

  • No metal bands at any of the bars this weekend. (Things pick up just after the weekend, though. Monday through Wednesday are going to rock, literally.) I might go to the Launchpad [launchpadrocks.com] on Saturday night anyway, though, to see some non-metal. I don't have any plans for tonight, though. :( Maybe I'll go to a movie or something like that.

    Last weekend I started a new software project, but I don't wanna tell anyone what it is, yet, in case I decide to cheeze out. But as a side-effect, I'm gaining expertise wit

  • Just got back from a redneck barbecue, now we're leaving for a friends bachelor party (Well I'm going to that part, drinking, stripclubs and so on. The wife will go with the bride and do whatever it is womenfolk do on occasions such as these. I'm not sure what that might be, knitting or some such I imagine).

    Tomorrow morning we have birth classes to teach us how to properly panic when kiddo arrives. In the afternoon there's the wedding and tailgate party for the bachelor/bride mentioned above. Should be a

  • Going to my high school reunion (sorta).
    This one if for every graduating class of the 80's. I went to a small country school. I graduated with 76 people. Nobody ever shows up to the regular reunions, so they decided to have one for the entire decade.
    There is about 200 people coming (including spouses). Hopefully it'll be nice.

  • Probably will dye some more fabric, clean the kitchen (again -- how do these damn dishes get so dirty so quickly?), and generally hang out.

    Stuff needs to be mailed for our ebay customers, but Ben will do that. :P

    I need to do some household cleaning this weekend, which will probably have to wait 'til tomorrow because I stayed up really late last night, with all the lesbian bondage go-go dancers, you know. I need to mow, wash my car, do some laundry, and clean the bathroom, but I don't feel like it right now.
