Me, too. I was in a business computing class taught by an accountant in 1982. The instructor stated that there would be no more programming in five years, because everything would have been written and that would be necessary is to string the components together. He went on to say that we should change our majors to accounting. Karnak, didn't foresee the day when programmers would begin to nibble away at his job. It right up there with the predictions that there would never be more than two million cars because no more than two million people would want to be chauffeurs, or that two hundred computers would be all that's required to handle the needs of the world.
