I probably would have guessed that, too, but the first Intel motherboard I looked at on Micro Center's web site has a PS/2 port. For AMD motherboards, I had to look at three before I found a PS/2 port.

Gnome wants to be MacOS, so it's not surprising that someone who's used to MS Windows would hate it. If you're coming from Windows, I would suggest KDE as a desktop that will look similar to what you're used to.

That definition of "programmer" makes the term pretty much meaningless. I certainly wouldn't call someone a programmer just because they can type two commands. If you would, I certainly hope I never have to work with any of your "programmers".

That wouldn't require changing the rule. ISPs don't have to itemize any fees that are included in the advertised price.

State and local taxes, being a "charge... mandated by a government", are specifically exempt from the rule. The average person is aware that advertised prices don't include sales tax and, perhaps more importantly, a person can find out from a different source (e.g. the government) what the sales tax is, so there won't be surprising extra charges.

I think "self-made" just means that the person didn't inherit the money from their parents.

"Depreciate" means the monetary value of something goes down over time. For example, after you buy a new car, it's worth less one year later than it was when you bought it.

"Deprecate" means a feature that's planned to be removed.

So is not knowing the difference between "depreciate" and "deprecate".
