Open borders is when anyone from anywhere in the world can show up in the US and say the magic word "asylum" and that gets them into the country with public assistance they can live on. The asylum system was so backlogged from all of the abuse that the hearings with immigration judges to determine the validity of the asylum claim were being scheduled for 7-10 years out, which is defacto immigration amnesty were that situation allowed to continue. That's why it was so important for Trump to slam that door shut like he did. Biden never had proper congressional authority to operate the asylum system this way, which is why Trump so easily turned it around by rescinding the illegal executive order that was issued by Biden's autopen.

And blue states aren't corrupt? How do you explain California's high-speed rail debacle? Billions of dollars spent over a couple of decades and no functional rail service. Are you naive enough to think connected insiders aren't pocketing that cash?
