Journal Degrees's Journal: I just got a bummer of a phone call... Grandma isn't well. 6

She has been in the hospital about a week, and continues to get worse from pnuemonia. Her son is by her side, and she isn't expected to recover. She recently turned 95 years old. We all had a nice birthday party. I don't know if my mom, her youngest daughter, is up in Modesto yet or not.

Her son is a devout Christian, and quite the electrical engineer (retired) - he was the lead engineer on the first inertial guidance system that allowed a submarine to navigate under the polar ice cap (hint: they used gyroscopes!) My Grandma raised a good man (and of course I think my mom turned out pretty well, too.) Grandma has many things to be thankful for.

I ask that if any of you all pray, that you would ask that a blessing of comfort be extended to Kittie, and guidance to Dick that God may be glorified as their relationship changes during this time.
