  • Out of the five things you listed (I'm counting leadership as one) I think management is only allowed to have any two of them at any time.
  • It couldn't hurt. Anything else I can think of would be covered by your list (loyalty, honesty, etc)
  • I'm not sure Discussion belongs on that list. :-)

    That sounds like a nice committee member. You're missing a few characteristics:

    What about initiative? Isn't a leader someone who, in the absence of a plan or clear direction, you know, leads?

    A closely related trait is decisiveness. While a leader isn't blindly pig-headed, he doesn't waffle.

    A leader is also loyal (in general) both to his subordinates and superiors. A leader will defend a subordinate to a superior, and vice versa, but will gracefully
