Comment Re: BLM? That's *not* propaganda! (Score 2) 50

BLM removed the Marxist and anti-family messages from their website in 2020. I read their web site because I was curious about them after the George Floyd murder. Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza used to openly describe themselves as Marxist, but apparently realized that it was hurting their image. You can still find some old interviews on the internet that they haven't been able to take down.

I'm not arguing with the sentiment that Black lives matter, but at this point can't we all agree that the BLM organization is not what they claimed to be?

I never enjoyed playing video games, much less watching someone else play, but whatever. It looks to me like a slightly different version of the same social media addiction that has afflicted half the population.

Comment A very peculiar kind of town square (Score 1) 151

The town square argument holds up only if a town square gave megaphones only to the most dangerous liars and invited the most gullible people to come and listen with promises of free (legal) drugs. It's legal, but do we really want to ignore the problem?
