I second that. You should be sterilized immediately.
That's exactly what he said, coward troll.
The problem with ChromeOS is Google having to maintain two Linux distributions. The only reason it even exists at all is that Chrome for Android was shit at the time at which ChromeOS was released. Its entire purpose for existing is running desktop Chrome on cheap laptops. Now that Chrome for Android is basically OK, it has no reason to exist. Unfortunately for Google they are going to have to support it for another decade, but that support could be pretty bad and probably still meet any notional promises they've made.
Last time I went in there, their website claimed they had a car battery that they in fact did not have.
You can check their website before you go to see if it's stock and what isle it's in.
What good is their stock information if it is a lie? Try reading before replying.
Columbia computer science professor Jason Nieh, who interviewed Google engineers as a witness in the case, testified that Aluminium requires a heavier software stack and more powerful hardware to run.
This just doesn't make sense. We're supposed to believe that the software now running on phones requires more hardware than the software now running on laptops?
I stopped going to walmart because about 9/10 of the time they wouldn't have what I wanted and I'd leave empty handed.
I've looked at their website many times but only ever bought something there once. In their attempt to be like Amazon they have wound up taking on all the same AliExpress shit as Amazon. This makes me unlikely to shop there because what I wanted was an alternative to Amazon without the flurry of crap which I buy from AliExpress, because it's 10-50% cheaper there.
I conclude that the people who shop at Walmart are predominantly either stupid, looking for typical mass market crap which I don't buy because it's terrible, or both. If I wanted some artificially fruit scented hair gel or a bicycle which is made out of the lowest grade chinesium, I'd go to wally world. It's still an OK place to pick up a HDMI cable or memory card on short notice. But in general, if they've got it, I don't want it, and vice versa. Last time I went in there, their website claimed they had a car battery that they in fact did not have. I wound up going to Costco, and they actually had it.
There is a big difference. Since it is tied to your subscription You would not be able to use it anymore if it was removed from their portfolio. This way people will still be able to access and use it.
FTFA from the prior story:
"Weâ(TM)re contacting you to let you know that Adobe will be discontinuing Adobe Animate on March 1, 2026. As an existing Animate user, you may continue to use Animate, but please note that technical support will no longer be available after March 1, 2027," states part of the email sent to users.
So no, that is not different at all, so it's not a big difference, in fact it's no different.
Animate will still receive "ongoing security and bug fixes" and will still be available for "both new and existing users," but it won't get new features.
The only difference between that and what they said before is that they will still be selling it. They have already committed to maintaining it for three years, that's "ongoing". There is no promise to bring it to new Windows versions, so that's not different either. If the only difference is that Adobe agreed to take more people's money, it's not a difference.
The article you linked proves the opposite of your point:
If only you could read, you would have read the part of the article which says flush door handles alone can save 1-2 MPG.
Certainly not worth designing a handle that gets people killed.
If only you could think, you would understand that you can make a flush door handle which doesn't get people killed. It was done in the eighties. It can be done today. Why are you doubling and tripling down on ignorance? If you don't know shit about cars, just don't talk about cars, problem solved.
What you do in your home is not at all related to how companies are required to operate.
What I do in my home is not become dependent on Adobe software. I guess I'm smarter than "companies".
You sure do like to make excuses for idiots and simp for corporations which make shit products.
Remember when "it's for the children" was rightly derided for being manipulative and meaningless? When did people start falling for that nonsense?
If you think feeding children is nonsense, from the very bottom of my heart, fuck you and fucking die.
At the very least, it should help employees meet the new work requirements in the "Big Beautiful Bill" to continue receiving their SNAP and Medicaid benefits.
For SNAP it's the old work requirements, ABAWD was created when Bill Clinton signed PRWORA in 1996. It's just been on a waiver in a lot of places because of covid or unemployment levels. But HR1 the big buttfucking bonanza changed the standard to apply for a waiver from 5% to 10% unemployment. This uses the U-2 rate which is an obviously deliberate lie which the democraps have been party to throughout the years as well, because everyone wants to brag about the allegedly low unemployment rate during their administration, but U-2 stops counting people after they are no longer eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits. It's also notable that the feds are not required to grant these waivers at any level of unemployment, it's just a point at which states can apply for waivers for their counties. ("FNS may waive the time limit" there are some other criteria but they typically weren't ever really used.)
ABAWD for Medicaid is new, though. Not even Bill "Intern looks like a humidor" Clinton was that evil. Thankfully it hasn't gone into effect yet. They are also forcing a 6 month renewal cycle for Medicaid (states have had the option of various recertification periods anywhere from every month to annually) to increase the chance that people will lose their coverage and also increase the cost burden on states and counties.
Unfortunately, the ABAWD requirement is that an adult must work 20 hours a week or 80 hours a month and anyone who cannot do that for three full months gets kicked off of SNAP, or in 2028, Medicaid — unless they have been determined disabled by the SSA or a state agency which uses the same criteria, or are over age 59 for SNAP or 64 for Medicaid, or meet some other exemption. So this change won't help any employees meet anything since Wal-Mart prefers to keep hours even lower than they have to in order to avoid having to provide insurance, so that they have as many employees as possible to cover shifts. As long as they aren't getting enough hours to meet the ABAWD requirement, they are going to have to make that up another way, such as with volunteer hours.
This is all of course ever so much bullshit because as anyone over 40 knows, it only gets harder to get hired as you age. There is also a stigma attached to adults in particular who are receiving assistance. One serious life problem and it could happen to any of us, but some people aren't smart enough to figure that out.
I will tell you what is going to happen as the fallout of this. Everyone using Flash is either going to dig out CS6, or are going to use cracked/pirated of the last version that receives updates.
Cool, they should do that.
The reason people keep using Flash, is because that's the product they've been using since the 1990's. They do not want to switch products.
Adobe has been shitty for a long time. They made a decision and it is now bearing fruit. Shrug.
We do these things not because they make sense, but to try to prop up a failing defense contractor
