It's the southern states which see comparatively little benefit from DST.
What I - and presumably many others - find amusing about this is Tom Cotton - loyal to the point of idiocy - not being loyal enough for His Master. I'd guess that Cotton is now seeing more mileage in separating himself from his Glorious dead duck Leader except that his position on this particular issue has been clear for some time.

You are commenting on this as if the leadership we're talking about is acting competently and in good faith: that they're there to run a department to the best of their abilities.

That's not what they're there to do. And at that point problems become systematic, it doesn't matter who made this screw up when the entire department is being screwed.

That's hardly practical. I recently had to crack open a Lenovo Thinkpad to replace the CMOS battery, and I ended up accidentally breaking off one of the plastic bits at the back.

But I guess that's better than something that's glued shut. Still, room for improvement?

I imagine that people with a good film school education will start producing gems that would never have been possible without AI - think George Lucas making THX 1138 directly.

The next problem is getting the word out without the use of a movie company like Paramount. Young people I know seem to be experimenting with their own purpose built social networks, this one for instance: https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Frendeznous.be%2F.
