I think the disconnect you guys are having surrounds your definition of "job creator." SuperKendall seems to define it literally. That is, somebody who owns a business and hires people to do work. Opportunist seems to be following the attempts by certain political types to redefine "super-wealthy sociopathic leach on society" as "job creator," and does not like it.

I don't think any sane person has a problem with literal "job creators." I think lots of people have problems with "super-wealthy sociopathic leaches on society" who try to paint themselves as "job creators" for the purposes of paying half the tax rate of "the other 98%."

I re-encode everything to mono. I just wish games would have a mono sound option, because when I have headphones on, it's hard to hear everything going on in games where the sound department decided to be real clever with the use of positioning tricks.

Fortunately, my employer uses IT to make us stand out. We've sunk millions of dollars into technology infrastructure, and it's paying off in a big way. Individual departments may look at us as a liability, but the people who make the strategic decisions know what we're worth. It's about to pay off, big-time, as we're about to double in size thanks to other hospital systems wanting to get in on what we do.
