Buy a really nice 5th wheel or tiny house every 10-15 years and bank and invest your money if kids aren't on the table.

If you finally get enough to throw down on some land then do it and just add a garage sized cement pad, add a pre-fab covering, dig a well, install electric and sewage and sidestep a house completely. Now you can have your cake and eat it too...

Probably because college is where the next group of studs is coming from in the next 2-4 years, no different than looking down the horizon on any other interest.

And lets be honest, the people who take things down to the college (or even highschool level) are either nuts about that particular sport or into making bets and gambling (which is also probably the bulk if not half of the loyal college fan crowd). Most of the other people I know that watch college sports religiously are actual students, former students, or former athletes themselves.

I have no idea what you are even talking about. Who replaced who? I'm asking how its possible anyone stormed into what could arguably be one of the most protected public buildings in the US, because...they couldn't shut the doors fast enough? Are you kidding me?

I'm just trying to follow the mental gymnastics at play here, how would it have been in trumps best interest to have what transpired happen? Like how in any possible way would it have turned out good from a goal perspective?

They needed a curb stomp to cap of the term...and they got one. Burying the economy, burning cites and homes, locking people down, Russia and the false steele documents, the first impeachment, the leaks from professionals in charge of our intelligence institutions, calling anyone that wears a red hat a racist, calling anyone thats conservative a racist, biased de-platforming...how much more do you need? How much will convince you that there is an obvious agenda?

The list just goes on, and on, and on...this whole thing reeks of propaganda turned to an 11....what really shocks me is either most people that seem ok with these things seem to look at all this as a necessary evil to justify the means?...or maybe they really did drink the cool-aid after being pumped up for 4 straight years.

I've no doubt I wont convince anyone of the batshit crazy propaganda monster that has been unleashed on everyone, its just a real shame most of the people I considered progressive and liberal turned out to be just a bad as the old guard they say they despised.

None of you idiots can explain how or why security was so lax to begin with. I've worked for a state entity, once I went through the wrong metal detector (meant for higher clearance individuals to go through quicker) only to be greeted by 4 state troopers.

I don't know if half of the people on here are really this stupid or are seriously this brainwashed...and that goes for both "teams". You all are nuts, but team blue has gone completely off the bend and into wack-ville.

Hello alvinrod, let me introduce a concept called "nuance".

I'm not just trying to be snarky, but why has nuance become so lost on people today when I see conversations and statements like yours?

Have you actually taken the time to ride that line of reasoning to its inevitable ruin and absurdity?

Case in point, I would think most pro-lifers are about saving the unborn because they haven't done anything wrong in their eyes yet to deserve to be incarcerated, let alone receive "the death penalty"...the dr, in their eyes, most certainly has done enough wrong to warrant early dusting.

I get you are confused by ops statement, but I don't personally believe OP wants just anyone to go to jail, they want a fat, white, tribal tattoo wearing, bro speak, wanna be special ops, generic prison cop stereo type person going to jail because of whatever bias...and because that at least affords some restitution to the wronged of a broken prison system.

Its fine if you want to call that out but not using the position your are trying to, it just seems like people want to pretend they are robots in all forms of discussion and opinion...its kind of disturbing.

Oh them too, it doesn't matter what their leanings are, they are still the same type of people.

They mob, they point fingers, they silence, they bully, they use unethical ways to accomplish their means and justify it as necessary, they are the exact same personality type pretty much. I know their are counter examples when some of these things are necessary, so maybe I fail to see their need as needed personality traits in society...but damn they seem to reach peek zenith every 20 years.

Banning falsehoods does not eliminate new falsehoods nor does it foster an individual to develop better critical thinking skills. If you provide all the information available you can then let the person make the judgement for themselves.

Learn from history, prohibition does not work (whether its banning books, drugs, ideas, religions, philosophies, fast foot...you name it)...in fact it often causes the exact opposite, effect or causes resentment and unrest taken to its most extreme.

You want people to decide for themselves with all the information available possible, let them be stewards of their own existence and choices. If you do not teach critical thinking skills you will always end up in a situation from protecting people from "X".

And lets be completely clear, most of the falsehoods you are referring to are national enquirer-esque in nature. The algorithms that aggregate and feed people "shit" to keep them plugged into the platform are to blame more than the content, and these systems have been in place, used and exploited for YEARS. Facebook has been sued many times and so has Youtube.

Its no different than booze and cig ads, you do something about malicious behavior modification and brainwashing practices used to exploit people, not by outright banning the substance, its discussion or even ridiculing those who partake, because you will not win. And even if you win on "X", "Y" will be right behind it because the problem was not actually addressed, just the symptom.

I've said it before and I will say it again...the radical right of the 80's have now become the radical left of today...you all are just like your parents and grandparents...you just have different personal leanings.
