searching "about a terabyte worth of communications about errors, misuse, and effectiveness of the Flock system" would take approximately 14 years of labor at a rate of $15 per hour.

Then it shouldn't exist.

A year ago AI was drunk and stupid. It's made a lot of improvements. I've actually started using free AI (Copilot) for real work as well as for double checking my own code. It's still questionable whether the paid services are worth the price.

We should do this in the US but fine and jail only people I disagree with.

So far it's only fixes.

Except when the fix breaks something else and the fix for that restores the original problem.

I've been paid to fix AI code. Saving time having AI generate code for me? Meh. It saves a few minutes handing off tedious stuff like writing SQL queries and helper functions but for anything major it needs a lot of review and it can waste time taking you in circles.

This exactly. There's a potentially valid argument to be made for investing in the overall market but shoveling tax dollars into the trendy stocks of the moment? No.

They wouldn't need to if they added "Don't make any mistakes" to the prompt.

Worse than the stock market. At least in the stock market you can buy and hold and ride the market up.

I might pay to see a documentary of it though. Pure comedy.

"Maybe it's because AMD stock sits around $196 while Intel hovers near $41"

*sigh*

But you can't nullify the higher rates scammers cause.

Because AI.

Supply and demand can work for you - it's not just for big business. You're free to complain about it or take advantage of it.

What can they get from a company that's approaching penny stock status?
