I thought EV batteries were supposed to be properly sealed. Seen many a video with EVs knee deep in water going through flooded roads whereas the ICE cars were stuck in the middle.

Will that 850C ICE fire melt all the plastic fuel tanks in ICE cars around it?

TO put out an EV battery fire, you need to get the water into the battery itself and you'll put it out in 10 minutes, the Coldcut Cobra system does that.

but some destroy car parks of 1000+ cars.... Luton Airport and Liverpool Echo Arena car parks to name 2 fairly recent ones both destroyed by a diesel catching fire

This is what happens when the commercial companies can't make enough money on nuclear or don't want to keep maintaining it make the taxpayer cough up

The UK has taken gas out of the equation for grid stability by using batteries, spinning mass is old school and will be phased out as more batteries are installed.

Only on ICE that has been converted to EV where they have left the gearbox in. The closet full EV is the Ionic 5N where they use the flappy paddles to simulate ICE gear changes complete with ICE sounds.

The congestion charge will probably be impacting more people outside the area who drive into Manhattan for work etc.
