oh, and incidentally, international training such as this is what gave the Harrier pilots in the Falklands the edge on the Argentian air force - the practise of using vectored thrust during combat was learned from the US Marines. It made the Harrier much more potent in air-to-air operations, as the Argentians found to their cost.
