Makes one wonder why they were banned in the US doesn't it... Would be an interesting headline if true "Threatened by the rise of Huawei, Apple calls on their friends in the US Gov".
A relevant statement in 1976, and still relevant today...
Who profits from driving away competition in the cell phone space? Huawei, Xiaomi, and others were really starting to encroach on Apple.
Not any more...

Which warrants an exuberant "It works with iphones!" Seriously? Is your audience that shallow?
They need to be careful.. Next thing you know some phone calls and meetings will have happened.. And they'll be banned in the US.

Always follow the money.. Who has the most to gain by "reporting" BS?
Not buying it... I doubt they were "targeted" or "breached" as described. It's far more likely an employee clicked something in an email and the malware was introduced to internal systems that way. This is just damage control...
Not extinct... "Thought to be extinct".. Obviously they weren't
I wonder if the authors realized that contactless payment statistics are not simply Apple Pay payment statistics. Android devices have been doing NFC for far longer and there are other non-phone devices as well.
Are the offerings from Apple, Disney and Warner actually comparable? PS VUE is similar to regular cable TV services from a cable co, or YoutubeTV, or a few other OTT providers. Those other 3 more directly compare to (and compete with) Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Makes ya wonder.. If fear of Huawei, led to Apple whispering in the ears of select politicians... What exactly does ~$7M a year in lobbying buy you?
Our service was fine today. They had a ~6hr outage yesterday though. This is for business fiber connectivity. We BGP peer with them and another carrier though, so no actual downtime.
Their last ticket update:
Our local repair group field technician found a dirty fiber connection at the 2nd optical patch panel in the Henderson, NC central office. The field technician cleaned the dirty fiber to clear the automatic power reduction alarm. We are showing two way traffic on the higher level interface has restored. We will hold our ticket for 24 hours to ensure stability.
Cue the Apple apologists...
