Almost all of those things listed are goods or services provided for sale to the public. The DataMining gives nothing back, except to a very select few. Heck there are barely any employees.

I can send a letter via the USPS for a $.55 to Alaska from the continental US in 3 days. Fedex/UPS wants $Bucketload to ship a single sheet to anywhere.
The USPS is perhaps the best and maybe the only truly functioning government service. If they were allowed to keep their profit every year they would be making decent money. Instead they start at $0 and are always forced to ask the monkeys in Congress for money. The legislative chimps just want to line their pockets with what privatizing the postal service would get them in bribes.

20 years ago I trained my Indian replacement, and then took a package. I worked as a contractor for a few more years before retiring. All corp's are bloodsuckers with no regard for the humans that they exploit. My father worked his whole life for the same private company and got well taken care of. A corp. doesn't even understand the concept.

I stopped watching. With F1 it will be even easier, I don't watch now so I'll just bite the bullet and continue not watching. I am not sure how the NFL thinks it will be better for the brand by limiting access. I seem to remember watching it at some point when it was over the air...

LOL, My first computer was a trash 80 color computer. I peeked and poked that piece of hardware for a long time.
A friends father was a physicist at LLL and he had a full blown CP/M machine we played Zork on.

Trained archivist are experts in data storage and retrieval techniques and technology. If they need any help I've got an IBM 8" floppy drive that still works. A whole 3000 80x132 punch card storage. Who would ever need more than 640K memory ?
