"EVs do destroy the biosphere, I would have to drive twice as much as I currently do per year to recover the additional c02 an EV from manufacturing creates"
EVs reach break even by about 70k miles even if they were charged 100% from coal, which they aren't.
See no evil monkey says what?
" You can put probably ~500 miles of range into a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle in 7 minutes versus 200 miles in 15 minutes on a modern EV."
When all goes well, sure. At other times the fill connector freezes up and it takes much longer. At least three times, there has been an explosion during filling just in the limited service in California alone.
"This is absolutely not the case if the AI is driven by someone competent."
That's the point, they are claiming to be saving both time and money. That means they're using incompetents, not reviewing the code properly, or both. Or just lying of course. No guesses which from me, any of these are plausible.
As long as I can deny it the same way I can access to the microphone or camera, I'm happy about it.

Third position, copyright terms are too damn long, so I don't respect them.
I support Authors getting paid for their work, yes. I don't support that work being squeezed for nickels in perpetuity when it should become fair game and part of our cultural background.
A friend of mine owns an EV plane. He did the conversion himself. It has an electric motor taken from a Zero electric motorcycle. It's connected to the prop shaft with a belt. It's enormously simpler and more convenient, including being trivial to inspect.
"In addition to faster refuel time, fuel cell vehicles emit only water vapor. That's a win."
It's a big lose compared to EVs.
This is false and your reasoning is stupid.
What did he do, use "retarded" as an insult?
It's neither thing. It's lagging because we give subsidies to fossil fuel corporations instead of spending the same money on infrastructure that doesn't destroy the biosphere we depend upon for life.
Since they charge in half the time or less, you can serve the same number of customers with half the chargers.
Ideally you also spread them around a little more, which is advantageous to customers, as more of them will have fast charging nearby. This is difficult to do with dino juice because of tanks and whatnot.
There's no future in time travel.
