Journal Amani576's Journal: What'll our geek world be like in 1500 years?

I don't know if those reading this have seen the commercial, but I know locally Sprint/Embarq has a commercial advertising their $24.95 for the life of the service "high-speed internet". And the commercial has these three guys singing this song that goes "In the year 2525, high-speed internet's $24.95 - in the year 3525 it's still $24.95". And it got me thinking... 1500 years from now, what will the internet be like? And what will our computers be like? I mean, we're on the brink of quantum and parallel computer where we'll have hundreds of processors in one small computer. And the price of our T1, T3, and OC3 internet connections continually drops, what will our "normal" internet be like 1500 years from now? I wouldn't be surprised if something like a 600 Megabye, maybe even 600 Gigabyte file downloads at the same rate as our 600 Kilobyte files. That's just mind-boggling... But, who knows... I could be dead on. But, I'm curious what everyone else who reads this thinks computers and the internet'll be 1500 years in the future...
