Comment Re:Authors are the victims! (Score 0) 128

Now that I think about it, my parent comment was stupid, as were other comments which I've made on Slashdot; that's why I've got bad karma. I've got these brilliant scripts, which I plug far too often. Each plug gives more reason for people to not check it out. I wish I could delete some of my previous comments, including this one. Commander Taco should sell a service which erases a person's history from Slashdot.

Journal Journal: Bad Karma 1

Today my Slashdot karma went from good to bad. It's all because I didn't share a sense of humor with an "it's funny. laugh" article. I just think non-fiction should have more precidence than fiction on slashdot, that's all. If the editors disagree with that, they can go to hell!

Journal Journal: SPIRITED AWAY outrage!

SPIRITED AWAY was never released to theatres in my city (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan). We've got about 25 big film screens in this city, and NONE of them showed the movie which won the Oscar for BEST ANIMATED PICTURE!!!

Journal Journal: Yet again with the shameless plugs...

Some might call it a bad habit to post comments to slashdot articles which are just a blatant excuse to mention your own site; however, I call it ... the only marketting ploy which has ever worked for my site. Linking to my site in comments regarding slashdot articles has brought more visitors to my site than any other tactic which I've tried. It's morally wrong, but I try to at least include one sentence regarding my opinion on the subject of discussion. Am I evil?

Journal Journal: Spirited Away

Today I wrote a comment which went something like this: "The grandeur of Mayazaki's epic motion-paintings is insulted on the small-screen whereas the landscape of the world's largest movie projection would almost do him justice." I think I should become a movie-reviewer or something :)

How many hardware guys does it take to change a light bulb? "Well the diagnostics say it's fine buddy, so it's a software problem."
