Journal Journal: University education vs experience

Is university realy that worth it, over the experience I'm getting right now? I've been employed with CGI [http://www.cgi.com] now for over 6 months. Although I knew in theory I could reset a user's password with active directory by doing a simple search and right clicking on his name, although I knew I could modify some of his user properties, when it came time to do it I realized that theory doesn't compare to experience! (These are simple examples). I always felt windows was quite easy since it's all point-and-click, but having the pissed off customer on the phone makes me a bit nervous, and I've realized I need to know where I'm going. Since this past 6 months, I had a chance to work with some great technologies, such as WindowsXP Citrix metaframe servers, CISCO's MeetingPlace, and more all of which I'm sure will come in handy eventually. I'm wondering if I should quit this job to get into even more debts, hopping to get a better salary once I graduate, or should I just keep the job and take the experience. I'm quite happy with this job, for someone who had no previous experiences, CGI is quite a nice company to work for.

Journal Journal: Is this any good? 1

I've been off University for a cpl of months now (since April) and since then I moved to the Toronto area. I'm currently working a full-time job. I doubt I'm gonna return to university, since I wanted to do a computer science bach, but the thing is I kept getting classes like history, marketting, astronomy. All classes which I really wasn't interested into and I couldn't do any good in. That is why returning is not an option. So in stead, I've been thinking of taking night and weekend classes at DeVy Institute of Technology . I'm interested in two courses, either the Computer and Telecommunications Electronics course at part-time or the Network Systems Specialist course full-time. Now I know papers all alone don't mean anything. But I wil still be passing some certs on the side of that. I plan on getting a chance to start my caree with a first job as a System Admin for a database/mailserver that we have at the mailorder warehouse where I work. That would give me a chance to build myself some experience. Anyhow what I'd like to know is, what do you guys think about that college. When you click on the description of one class you'll notice you can read the description of all classes. If anyone cares to read, lemme know what you think about that cours.
