Summary: I like SmartAdvocate. While I think some aspects could be better, this has been a very easy program to learn.
Positive: The task tracking is super helpful and I like that I can assign tasks to myself. It helps me not to forget what I need to do.
I like the Document Cloud a lot. It allows everyone in the firm to access the same documents without having to download them every time. It also makes organizing documents easier.Negative: I wish SA allowed you to edit document templates on the website. I also cannot figure out how to download the Word Plug-In so I can't edit the templates at all.

The workflows are very hard to implement. They are tedious to design and often don't work as intended. Tweaking them after testing them takes time and often still doesn't get you the results you want. -

Summary: Overall this software is good. It is easy to navigate, keeps everything in one place, and is easy to organize.
Positive: Everything can be in one place. The note feature makes it easy to follow along with what has happened in a file. You can send links to documents via email to coworkers. There are regular seminars to beef up your knowledge of how best to use the software.
Negative: We have a chat system that automatically creates files for contacts regardless of if there is already a file in the system for them. We are unable to delete contacts so we have to manually find them and rename the duplicates as "unknown".

Effect & Easy to understand Case management System Date: May 03 2021
Summary: Like any program it has its quirks and takes some time to get use to but once you do it becomes such a helpful tool.
Positive: Smart Advocate is easy and self-explanatory once you get accustomed to using inputting all the details, it helps a lot throughout all the stages of the case. Smart Advocate has helped us keep better track of all the deadlines. The note section specifically is helping everyone who needs to know the details of the case, what is going on, and should the client call and have any questions; anyone can help them once they read the notes on the case
Negative: No longer being able to add a new contact from disbursements directly. Also, not being able to save a word document from my Microsoft Word directly onto Smart Advocate, I can only upload it from the web browser.
