Summary: I like HIVE, even though I only been on it for less than 5 months.
I learned a lot and I am still learning. I like connecting with people from all over the world that are like minded.
Through engaging you can grow and help HIVE GROW.

Positive: The engagement with others, the ability to show my photographs and art. My adventures and travels.
I love that I can blog on HIVE.

Negative: So far everything I like, after reading up on it and understanding how it works.

Summary: The platform is what you make of it, with the non presence of algorithmic topic pushing on your feed you have the control to ensure you are not fed anything that is just there for your attention based on a computer making the choice for you.
While the topic regurgitation occurs because the social platform is community consensus eventually posters that are posing for a quick buck tend to fade in distant history. Freeing your feed.

I recommend you try the platform and take it as a learning experience as opposed to looking at it as aa get rich quick scheme like most of the people leaving the platform pushing nonsensical ideas about anything under the sun.

Positive: There are tons of things to do. The social aspect of Facebook and all mainstream platforms without the algorithmic mind washing found on centralized social media platforms.

Negative: The need to bandwagon on the newest trend setting topic being regurgitated by the masses that follow the whales to try to cash in on any topics even if they do not have the knowledge to know what they are talking about.

Not for the faint hearted when it comes to learning the intricacies and platform norms in what you can and can't do when posting.

Summary: Hive is a blockchain with fast free transactions (3 seconds), where you are the owner of your account which means that no one can censor you, it has a group of world-renowned applications that provide real solutions to real problems, decentralized video storage with 3speak, NFT games with a healthy economy, an engaged community. Etc.

Positive: In Hive everyone owns their own account, free of censorship, free transactions in 3 seconds, a large number of NFT applications and games, conscious community.

Negative: I consider the market price of Hive to be undervalued. We should put more emphasis on marketing.

Summary: Hive has changed my life. Before I did not really know how to develop income online other than reselling. Along comes Hive with its no fees and super fast transaction and all of those layer 2 tokens and communities are just the icing on top of the cake.

Positive: Awesome communities.
Great income opportunities.
Great Investment opportunities.
A stable coin that has a 20% APR.
Great for blogging and engaging with others.
Great place to build a brand.

Negative: I do not really have anything to put here. I like everything about the Hive Blockchain in fact it is the measuring stick by which I judge all other blockchains.

Summary: I spent 2 years participating in another blockchain and when I came to Hive I realized what a serious and real blockchain blog is.

I started to create my own profile and portfolio, and I can say that here the quality of the content is what counts. Far beyond your time in the place, your acquaintances, or whatever, there you can be a real blogger, and if you're good, they'll notice.

Positive: The pros of Hive are numerous. It is a blockchain that allows the user to create content of a diverse nature and publish from the same platform, or from specific dapps, such as 3Speak; and this makes it easy for the creator to focus on their niche.

There is excellent interaction between users and great commitment from the administrators and moderators of the platforms.

Negative: I find no cons in this ecosystem. It's a decentralized environment, and for co-creator management, I think there's a level of excellence and respect that's unique to Hive.

Summary: An excellent decentralized solution for social platform with a lot of dapps.
Excellent community and helps new users.

Positive: Open Source and everyone can contribute.
Free to use.
No fee gas.
A lot of dapps already developed.
Decentralized.

Negative: A lot of concepts to understand but since you understand it it is really easy to use.

Summary: While the details regarding how rewards and the entire hive ecosystem works can be complex, simply using hive is a breeze. Post content and upvote what you like. What could be simpler. There are a variety of front ends to use. Add to that rewards for both creating content and curating and you have an outstanding platform. There are imitators but they all pale in comparison at the moment.

Positive: Censorship resistant AND you can earn crypto. What's not to like? Far superior to its competitors in terms of features, content and activity.

Negative: Short form content generally isn't appreciated and a bad interaction with a whale can lead to you earning little to nothing. But if it is only the decentralization and censorship resistance that you care about then those things are a minor concern. If you do endeavor to actually earn though you'll have to be careful whose toes you step on. This is not actually an issue for most people but something to be aware of.

Positive: Hive is an eco-system for web3 apps to be built.
Fast, free transactions.
No barrier to entry.

Negative: Low amount of documentation to use.
They could produce a lot more for developers to start with.

Summary: Perfect experience for everyone new to the blockchain and a way to build wealth from scratch. You are not late, join the fun!

Positive: Hive is awesome when it comes to build your brand via blogging and marketing. It has a vibrant ecosystem and rewards users for their content. Many big NFT games are building on Hive.

Negative: I don't have enough Hive. I need more. Many conspiracy theories out there. Some users wanna be gods.

Summary: Excellent with room for much community and app growth. I can say the LeoFinance group alone is like nothing out there.

Positive: From the negative reviews listed here from the past, I can say, "Hive is the only alternative to FB, Twit, and YouTube that is totally integrated."
You can use the Engage app to track and respond to all of your comments, mentions, feed, and communities across the entire chain.

Negative: None for what I use it for...well sometimes uploading videos on 3Speak is glitchy but if you post to DTube 1st and it automatically uploads to 3Speak.

Summary: I have been posting on Hive every day for two years, mainly in the Actifit community. There is a community for everyone! Just take a look and you won't go anywhere else.

Positive: Speed of use.
Variety of communities available.
Something for everyone.

Negative: Hive was my first venture into crypto and blogging in general so it was a bit daunting at first but I soon realized how marvelous it is to meet new like-minded people.

Summary: Overall, a really positive experience - take the time to invest into the space and you will love it.

Positive: The HIVE space creates genuine communities, linking people through engagement in a variety of topics from writing fiction, to discussing coffee, or the latest niche film. In going from place to place in the network, I find myself playing games to earn crypto and then going back into the blogging spaces to learn about it.

Being on HIVE has made me smarter, and by engaging with diverse views around the world - it is far more authentic than any local mess of a group I might happen to stumble upon in traditional social media.

Of course, the biggest pro is the ability to earn payments based on your engagement. That's the reason to join, but after a while, that becomes secondary to the habit of HIVE becoming part of your every day routine.

I am constantly surprised ow HIVE is changing lives - while my earnings are not life-changing, a lot of people in developing nations are able to earn their daily wage from making a post. This inclusivity seems to check every single ambition from governments and big organisations - but it took the power of a brilliant crypto network to actually implement real change in the world.

I'm 4 months into my HIVE adventure! Can see myself being here very long term.

Negative: When you first log into a HIVE blogging platform, it can be overwhelming. There are a million things to learn - from which group to post in, what tags to use, how to access your crypto earnings, the structure of the curation system etc. It can take a fair amount of time and perseverance to get your head around it. For ease now, I'd give it a 5 - but on first joining, it would have been somewhere between a 2 and a 3.

However, there are a lot of articles and videos up to help though, and I found it probably took me a few weeks to get to a point where I felt really confident knowing what I was doing.

Summary: I've been on this network for years since it was Steem. I like the improvements that have been made once it forked to Hive.

Positive: Lots of different communities to post to. If you post good content you will be rewarded with lots of Hive.

Negative: The initial signup process can be confusing for most people. The easiest way to join is via a dapp like Ecency.

Summary: Hive is definitely a place to be anytime because a day without hive means a day without reward and it us definitely a live changer with the positive and progressive impact it has to change things positively which I appreciate and also to be among of the awesome platform.

Positive: I love hive with the impact it has distributed in changing lives positively with h the opportunities it offers.

Negative: When one is not supportive in what is good it's baffles me but with the impact of hive the contribution and support from users is really awesome and incredible.

Summary: Hive is a great place for like-minded people to both earn and distribute rewards. It's more than just social. The most active DApp in the space, Splinterlands lives on its blockchain. Don't be distracted by the likes of Blurt and Steem, 99% of the effort and brainpower went to Hive.

Positive: Hive was born from a contentious hardfork of Steem. Steem was taken over by a centralized authority, so the vast majority of the community went to Hive. While Hive is constantly developed, Steem is largely ignored by its centralized authority. It's really a great place to create content, and earn crypto for your efforts. That crypto can be staked on the blockchain, or sold on several exchanges for Bitcoin and other cryptos. Hive is community-governed which is a pro for most.

Negative: Hive is community-governed, which is a con for some with the expectation they can do whatever they want and get rewarded for it. I suspect the one-star reviews here are those who assumed they could get rewards for nonsense, and discovered otherwise.
