Summary: All the premises are in place for HIVE to be the platform of the future.

The new projects (Larynx, Ragnarok, etc) with their Claim Drop are consolidating the structure of the platform to diversify it in the NFT and gaming market among others.

Positive: Total autonomy to publish content and get rewards for them with the only limit of originality.
Fight against plagiarism.
Numerous decentralized frontends and applications.
A community in continuous growth.
Rewards appropriate to the quality of the content.

Negative: The value of the token is too unstable, although this is still a characteristic of cryptocurrencies.
Not all exchanges accept the HIVE at the moment of selling it and this generates to transfer it to another cryptocurrency and lose a lot in commissions.
There is a lack of curators with more voting power, it is usual to see a post with many votes and little reward and another post with few votes and a very high reward.

Summary: I simply love it. Hive can bring independence to many content creators. I believe I will be one of them and one day I will have the power to help others to show their work and be rewarded.

Positive: I like the community and the whole idea of free speech. Everyone can be a journalist and an expert in their field. Hive is just connecting those who are connecting non-biased articles with readers. The biggest plus is that you get a reward for that and you share rewards with others.

Negative: I didn't like some rules about copywriting or spamming. But I am sure they are making more good than bad. Especially when the users are rising weekly. There could be more curators.

Summary: Hive has become part of my life for more than 3 years now and a good part of my free time is spent playing blockchain-based games like Splinterlands and Rising Star, writing content and interacting with other users and these are all activities I enjoy doing.
There are aspects that can be improved but Hive is definitely my favorite blockchain project!

Positive: In the panorama of blockchain projects Hive is more unique than rare because it has peculiarities that no other project has:
Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.
Hive is completely decentralized
Hive has no transaction costs
Hive has many utilities and functionalities (blogging, gaming, defi,...)
Hive is a large and growing ecosystem of projects and sites and Splinterlands is an example and is also one of the most successful gaming projects built on Hive's blockchain.
Hive has no owners but has a great and beautiful community.
I've been an active user on Hive for over 3 years and Hive is definitely my favorite blockchain project.

Negative: A new user may have difficulties at the beginning to understand the various dynamics of the platform (wallet and tokens, front-ends, power up, ...) but these difficulties are easily overcome thanks to the support of the many users and communities of Hive that are always ready to help a new user.

Summary: In one word, I’ll say, “Awesome!” To go further, since I joined the platform, I’ve become more consistent with practicing my craft which is painting. I have also come to know amazing people and form connections with them. I’ve recommended hive to a number of my friends and they have no complaints about using Hive, which goes to show what a cool blockchain it is.

Positive: I like how easy it is to use, especially on mobile with 3rd party apps like Ecency. It’s a great way for me as an artist to improve my craft, share my knowledge while also earning by the side to sustain myself.
The community on Hive is also amazing, and very welcoming. Newcomers feel welcome on the platform and are encouraged to grow through different programs and initiatives on the platform.

You also get to learn a lot from other people, it’s a great place to learn and travel the world from the comfort of your screen.

Negative: I don’t have much to say, I haven’t encountered any I-dudes so far.

Summary: A bit daunting at the start as it takes some time to figure out how the whole thing works, from understanding curation to different platforms, especially if one is not so familiar with cryptos. After you get the hang of it, there's where the fun begins and I will check out this space everyday!

Positive: The friendly community, the variety of content and information. the active engagement. and best of all, getting rewarded for writing and reading content.

Negative: Might be a daunting for beginners who might not be familiar with how this whole thing works. Feel free to ask around and communicate with the friendly people and you will be surprised with how helpful people within this community are!

Summary: Hive is a surprisingly big ecosystem to anyone who doesn't know much about it. At the base layer, Hive provides the decentralized infrastructure for a host of applications to run on it. The free, 3-second transactions facilitate that in a big way. There are many users on some of those applications (for example many Splinterlands players) that have no idea they are using Hive, yet they do.

Positive: There are multiple tokenized communities on Hive, and you can earn in one or more of them. It's a matter of finding the place you are comfortable in and where you are appreciated. And you can always create your own community and tokenize it too.

But Hive is more than the blogging aspect. You can find several interesting games on Hive (including Splinterlands, which is an industry leader), and quite a host of ways to earn, including through defi elements, liquidity pools (called diesel pools on Tribaldex) and other opportunities. There is the possibility to create NFTs on Hive as well (haven't tried it myself).

Currently, the APR for Hive's algorithmic stable coin HBD is set at 20% which is hard to find elsewhere in the world of stable coins, especially on the first layer. Imagine earning 20% interest on dollars...

Negative: Onboarding lots of new users in a short period of time can be problematic. But people are working to find solutions.

Summary: Great as a blogging and social media platform backed by a strong technology that can power various types of dApps.

Positive: - a strong community that will fight for the blockchain
- fast blockchain
- cheap account creation and there are ways to get one for free
- open-source app and frontend
- NFT, videos etc...
- 20% stable coin
- flexible enough to open up for other opportunities

Negative: - like with all blockchains, some people might find it difficult to grab the concept and some technical aspects such as private/public keys
- spammers are everywhere even here
- not enough users yet to show its real potential

Summary: Playing Splinterlands was my actual intention, but it was through the game that I discovered the blockchain it was build upon.
Since then, I've fully immersed myself into the HIVE blockchain and expanded beyond just the Splinterlands games itself, so much so that I spend more time on HIVE overall than the game which originally brought me here! :D

Positive: - Feeless transactions.
- large number of P2E games, Splinterlands in particular is one of the largest P2E games with the most number of active users, beating out even Axie Infinity.
- A large and varied community discussing and covering a vast range of topics.

Negative: - What's there not to like? ;)
- Team could do with more aggressive and professional marketing. I feel that more ought to be invested in this aspect by hiring big name ad agencies for a sustained and effective campaign to spread more awareness.

Summary: I was introduced to it by playing Splinterlands. I like the idea of micro-investing in layer two tokens.

Positive: * More than a 100 layer two projects
*Support from different communities
*Author and curation rewards

Negative: Sorry, I could not think of any setback for now. So far, my experience is beyond my expectation.

Summary: Digitally organic free enterprise for the masses. The wild west of opportunity and characters with the framework to host any sort of innovation and the economy to support it and include all.

Positive: Passionate community supporting application developers. Built in economy with scaled up technology to handle insane numbers of transactions. Interact directly with witnesses and play a part in the community driven vision. Connect with anyone in the world within 3 seconds and your direct support rewards you too.

Negative: People will be people and this blockchain community has all sorts.
Not enough exchanges carry Hive and HBD.
Still in beginning stages as far as front end development and a ways to go to appeal to non-technical majority.
Under-performing token value until recently.

Summary: The best of the best! Hive is challenging and there are always new things to learn and experience. There are so many opportunities and directions you can go!

Positive: Ecency is my favorite frontend on the Hive blockchain! The Hive Community is vibrant and active and Hive gives me access to friends all around the world.

Negative: I truly can't think of a single thing that I don't like. It may be difficult for new users to understand how to use everything, but help is there for the asking. Everything is well thought out and works flawlessly.

Summary: My overall experience is favorable. I have been a user of this platform since it was created, and I will continue to use it.

Positive: It is a broad platform in terms of concepts and possibilities for participation, dynamic, with effective feedback.

Negative: It has its weaknesses as any human project, but it is perfectible. Sometimes decentralization and conceptual updating fail a little.

Summary: My experience was pretty cool. I've been on Hive for about four or five months. There are such good communities, good games, and it's really nice to blog about everything, especially as we get rewarded for it!

Positive: - Freedom of Speech

Negative: Personally, I do not see many cons. Maybe the Hivewatchers approach with new users.

Summary: Awesome, I would recommend HIVE for anyone on social media that ISN'T getting crypto rewards for their content.

Positive: Daily blogging, interactions with interesting people, rewarded for posts and comments, interesting subchain tokens for passive income.

Negative: HIVE is less than one dollar - it's heavily discounted right now.

Summary: Overall I think Hive is better than other decentralised platforms and also the cons I mentioned are seen in all other platforms, so it's not a big need.

Positive: From what I can say from 1 year of experience is that, this is the best decentralised social networking on the internet. The Hive ecosystem is really huge compared to others. The Hive is maintained and monitored properly for avoiding abuse, plagiarism and etc.

Negative: Some communities doesn't curate contents even if it has quality.
Some users with huge followers get high values of vote even for low quality posts and that can be a abuse to the reward pool and also unfairness.
Some times if we are honest about something, and of the admins are against that, our content won't get curated.
Most of the users use hive.vote and there are very few 7-10 user who actually reads the content and vote, other follows the curation trail (auto vote).
