Summary: My overall experience with Deal Room is positive. Deal Room provides an effective virtual data room for the deals that I am on.

Positive: Easy to use and works well for downloading several files at the same time. User interface is intuitive.

Negative: Viewing the file in browser is slow and the search function is slow.

Summary: Overall, I am impressed by the platform and have found that using it increased the efficiency of coordinating the timely review of a large number of documents.

Positive: I really like the flexibility of options and configuration that is afforded by the DealRoom platform. Document-specific permissions can be set, and documented comments back-and-forth are supported. I also appreciated the ability to express relationships between documents (e.g., parent-child and/or parallel relationships).

Negative: I couldn't easily figure how to display the Assignee(s) tied to any particular request or document.

Summary: Excellent platform and service, and I have been using virtual data rooms for 25 years as an M&A banker.

Positive: Ease of use, speed of upload, speed of retrieval, and the timeliness of the email notification feature.

Negative: I can't say that there is anything that I found to be a con!

Summary: This product does exactly what you would expect. The product is intuitive and flexible. Even my team members who are "technically challenged" caught on how to use this very quickly.

Positive: Any questions I had were answered in real time or close to it. When I asked about making a technical change to the system I was pleasantly surprised with a 24 hour turn around time from their engineers.

Negative: The only thing I would expand on would be instructions related to comment security. At the same time all my questions were answered in a live chat.

Summary: Wonderful experience. I would definitely use this platform on my next acquisition!

Positive: DealRoom is an amazing tool for data sharing, documentation review and decision-making throughout the acquisitions process. It allows multiple leaders to make independent decision that collectively yield Go/No-Go scenarios. It's intuitive and easy to use and beats any other platform in the acquisitions game.

Negative: Perhaps there could be more of a project management, GANTT interface for tasking items and tracking items across time.

Summary: A great product that I would recommend to other attorneys. It is easy to navigate and allows me to work efficiently and effectively, bring value to my client.

Positive: The Deal Room product has been exceptional to work with. The access, document set up (i.e., folders), downloading capability and, very importantly, ease with which I have been able to move from folder to folder and document to document, have made my diligence review proceed with ease ("EESS").

Negative: The only thing that was a little challenging was viewing excel spreadsheets that had many columns. The work around, however, was EESSy because of the EESS with which I was able to download the document and read it locally on my computer.

Summary: Very clean - very easy. DealRoom makes things easier for users and I would highly recommend on future transactions.

Positive: The product's interface is clean and intuitive - saves me time when I need to search for data items.

Negative: I would suggest the site opens up to the data room rather than the process or blank areas of the particular data site I was utilizing.

Summary: Overall, I really enjoy the platform. I can easily transition between deals and structure files in a clean, organized fashion.

Positive: It has a very simple setup that makes it very easy to use and understandable for clients who aren't familiar with the M&A process.

Negative: You should be able to change the name of a room after creating it.

Summary: I think this is a good application, It is a really easy tool to use and I think its at least worth a try.

Positive: I liked that there was a free trial for people to try, although the price is a bit steep I think it is worth it. The interface is very easy and it does what its supposed to do without the added unnecessary things.

Negative: The only thing that I wish was that it was a bit cheaper for me to actually get but the free trial was worth the discovery.

Summary: Very easy to set up , upload and share documents confidentially in an efficient manner. You don't even have to download a document in order to view it.

Positive: 1. Offers a free trial to test out the program.
2. User friendly.
3. Other VDRs are more complicated and expansive than need be.

Negative: I can't say anything negative about this program.

Summary: It is very easy to use, and every new team member can learn at a drop of a hat. You can pretty much do an M&A transaction inside the Dealroom.

Positive: The best thing about Dealroom is that it is cloud-based. The team can review and share information in real-time. It also has VDR functionality, so I don’t have to jump from one app to another. Everything that I need is already on one platform, which makes our job a lot easier.

Negative: There’s really not much to say here. Amongst other platforms, Dealroom offers a lot more and charges less.

Summary: Dealroom has made managing projects a lot easier. Monitoring different workstreams and file visibility is awesome.

Positive: As a moderator, I love how I can set the visibility of certain confidential files and hide them from people who are not supposed to see them. Also, Dealroom has a feature that lists down all the active users of the platform which gives me instant access to the list of people involved in a certain deal. It’s amazing.

Negative: There's not a lot to say in this matter. This is a feature-rich product that has very few flaws. I would appreciate a cellphone app though.

Summary: It’s the best one I’ve used so far. If your team is looking for a project management tool, I would highly recommend DealRoom. Super easy to use, highly collaborative, and cost-friendly. Definitely worth transitioning into.

Positive: Highly Collaborative. So far this is the best platform I have ever used when it comes to team collaboration.

Negative: There were no cons I could think of when using DealRoom, and you will understand what I mean here when you get to use this.

Summary: It’s cloud-based and real-time for easy collaboration. Being able to leave messages inside the documents is awesome.

Positive: Our team was using excel sheets before we found Dealroom. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Learning it is not that difficult and adapting to it is one of the best things that has ever happened to our team.

Negative: It could use more colors! It looks a bit plain for my taste.

Summary: It has a very simple interface and easy to use for casual users like me. You can understand everything inside.

Positive: Dealroom is very easy to use. I can only see what I need to see because of the permissibility feature, so I get in, do my thing, and get out. Everything is easy to understand and that really speeds up the process of deals. No more waiting for files on Emails and cross-functional collaboration. Every file is just uploaded here and it works great.

Negative: Too restrictive. I can’t see other files other than the ones permitted by the admin.
