I have changed the date of the party to sunday at 4pm. It will be a backyard BYOB BBQ. unfortunately we only have a small grill here, so if anyone else has a grill they can bring please let me know. Also I will need to know the final number of people in order to pick up the right amount of hotdogs and burgers and what not. if everyone can chip in a few dollars to cover food costs that would be great. ~JoGo

Is that supposed to be 4pm to 7pm? 4pm to 7am is too broad of a range of time. That's enough time that each person attending can be there alone for an hour and not see anyone. Or maybe this better simulates the environment most Slashdotters live in :)

The party is scheduled for 4pm to 7pm, not till 7am. Although its fine if it runs late. Secondly for party we will do potluck. I will bring hotdogs[kosher, for those who care] and a grill for them, we will need everything else, including a potentially a bigger grill. please respond with what you can bring(plates, chips, drinks[beer?], burgers, corn on the cob etc.). See everyone on the 20th.

      I can bring some beer. However, I've got 2 issues: 1. I'm on-call, so I hope there's internet access available (I'll be bringing my own laptop). 2. I'm waiting to see if I have a ticket to the ARI-WSH game at Fedex Field, in which case I'll be late (traffic is hell around that area). If that's the case, then my ETA is 5:30-6 pm.

The T-Shirts have not arrived! since this party was just a simple ruse to get slashdot t-shirts(as I am sure many other people feel the same), I am inclined to postpone the party until the t-shirts do arrive. How is next sunday. Sorry for the late notice.
