I thought it would be cool if we all posted our info. I'm Justin, 27, Ph.D. student at Stony Brook in CS. Everyone feel free to chime in. And we're meeting at John Harvard's in front of the mall.

      Actually you were right! I got the dates all wrong so I can make it and mentioning it at the LUG that night got a lot more people interested. Of course a few were already signed up (looks sideways at fallungus)

  I'm an Alumnus from the Brook. Graduated back in '98 with a degree in Comp. Sci. I'm currently working for an investment bank in Manhattan. If I can get out of the city on an early enough train I'll be there.

    I think miyax is in LUGSB. I'm not too into LUGs anymore after RPI [rpi.edu]'s LUG. Just a bunch of Linux jokes and Microsoft haters. Not that there's really anything wrong with that, but damn if that's the only reason for the existence of your LUG it's pretty sad. Maybe they're better now...

The way to RSVP is to go to this page here [slashdot.org]. Then select NY in the drop down box. The page you get should list all NY parties. Click the button next to ours and then on 'Attend Party'.
