I'm good for pretty much any day that's not Wednesday. My kind of venue is a coffee shop with an atmosphere similar to Gypsy's in downtown Tulsa (though I'm not sure if it's still there as I've been living in Stillwater for the last 5 years).

I'll have to make a trip up to Tulsa, but there's not a lot of heavy duty geek culture down here in OKC that I've seen. I don't know Tulsa, so pick me a location and get me an address grin Can I bring my small aluminum anodizing setup? It looks like we are going to have a good turnout. I was afraid I would have to drink alone! We are getting up there in numbers, but I still think Kilkenny's will be good unless we get quite a few more. I will call to double check that there won't be a problem, or if we need to give them a count or make some type of reservation. If anyone disagrees just post with your idea and we can figure it out, but we should probably get it settled before next week. I know it's geeky, but I was thinking of printing up

We have a reservation at Kilkenny's to accommodate those that have already RSVPd above. It's too late to get in on the official count for party favors from Slashdot, but any others are certainly welcome to come. Please just post a "me too" reply so I can amend the reservation. Also, if you RSVPd but can't make it, let me know. Kilkenny's will have plenty of room, but I don't want to be the asshole with a reservation for 20 and only 10 show.

I still havent' got the shirts yet, so we will need to figure out how to distribute them on Sunday night. The reservation is under Brandon and I will be wearing a Science Commons t-shirt.

I got a box of shirts delivered today via FedEx. 10 shirts in an incredibly mangled taped up box, definitely not NewEgg style.

The shirts are all black and XL. They have the Slashdot anniversary logo (header) on the front right and Slashdot's "uptime" on the back. Definitely geek wear! I can meet the in-towners about town, pick up at my house, or deliver to your job if it's someplace cool that I can get in and you can show off. Let me know if you would like it mailed and we can figure something out.
