I got a -1, Funny score on my most recent comment. I find that comical.

Usually slashdot's moderation system is kind to me. Probably because the majority of my posts are either informative or funny. It says "excellent," but simple math tells me that my karma would be at 50 if they still had the number system in place.

Anyway, today I posted a comment which I thought to me quite humorous. You can read it here. It got one funny mod, and several troll and flamebait.

I guess some people just don't have a very good sense of humor. My karma's still excellent, of course, but i'm slowly losing faith in the moderation system. I once thought it was great, because by reading at +3 I got all good comments. Sometimes I read at -1 just for the hell of it, and see a lot of good stuff that just didn't get modded up as it should. Damn moderators. I should metamod. I didn't before because i'm lazy. I never get real mod points because I come here too often. Another /. fuckup in my mind, because when I did get mod points, I was always metamodded as fair.

Is it just me, or does the icon for first person shooter games look like a penis pump?

I have nothing to say. I just made an entry for the hell of it. Oh yeah, and watch Six Feet Under on HBO Sunday nights, because I said so.
