Journal Journal: Sprint to Sponsor Legal P2P Download

According to this New York Post article, Sprint is set to become the first to commercially sponsor a music file to be shared via P2P. According to the article the file would be marked with the Sprint logo which would be visible during playback on a computer or iPod. The article details are a bit sketchy, and format and DRM are not discussed. It is interesting to see an RIAA member offering their material for free download via P2P.
