Journal Journal: Thoughts on Farenheit 9/11 1

It's absolutely amazing what people will believe. The general rule of thumb of the liberal point-of-view is that if it goes along with the popular world-view of my peers, I will support it whole-heartedly. This is true despite the fact that the liberal world-view is full of contradictions and confusions. The ability to stand back and analyze a thought, belief, theory, doctrine, etc., etc. in a coherent world view is all but non-existant.

All you have to do is look at the philosophies of those who would try to attack the leadership of this country under the guise of freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of anything other than common sense. A movie that purports to be a documentary is allowed by the mainstream press to put forth the most outrageous falsehoods as truth. When called to task about the factuality of the presentation, either the facts are misrepresented or the fictions are stonewalled. If pressed on the issues, the allowable rebuttal is to cry out "Lies, lies, and damned lies." If one can voice them loud enough and long enough, the perception is such that they must be lies. After all, no one in the popular media is challenging them; no one is calling the authors to task; no one is looking for the TRUTH!

My hope and prayer is that the average citizen will open their eyes and see the truth for themselves. Only then can we expect to receive the blessing that the Almighty wants so badly to continue to pour on this nation.
