Aaagh, slashdot's search tool is not helpful and sometimes it doesn't even get the right thing. I submitted a story about CSIRO and before submission I couldn't find any other story about that (using Slashdot's search). Later while I was catching up with YRO section, I found that the story was published two days ago.

Unfortunately there is no option of deleting a submitted story before it gets accepted. I was expecting that editors will reject it realizing it was a dupe. Alas, it got accepted !!

I sent an email to Zonk (who seemed to be posting stories at that time) and CmdrTaco about it. It still shows the status as "accepted" for the story.

I guess I don't have to sacrifice sleep over this. :)
