
Journal Journal: Strange behaviour of Slashdot
Ever since an article on "Windows User Experiments with Linux for 10 days" was put up, Slashdot has been behaving very strangely indeed. Initially, I was unable to post anything on any topic.... the past 4 topics appear as if there are NO REPLIES for the past few hours...
After I changed my browser that doesn't contain my id profile, I'm able to see the page, but the moment I log in and try to post, I get vague errors like Internal Server Error, Get a New Form and Try Again... very puzzling.
It's been a few months since I started posting actively until last coupla' weeks, and I remember encountering similar problems with the site back then. Looks like Slashcode is highly flexible and the admins can play around a lot and do so without lot of people noticing or compaining. Either that, or the site appears different for paid subscribers, freeloaders and unlogged users. Crazy...
